I acquired a train set, then I got the Hogwarts Express for Christmas so decided it was time that I started to build a layout and expand. At our previous house, I didn't have much room in the basement, but as you see below, our new house is much larger so I have room to set up my 2 layouts side by side.

The larger layout is my Harry Potter theme, the smaller one a farm. I have built everything from kits except for Hagrid's hut which I built from scratch. The larger tunnel in the Harry Potter layout is from a Department 56 piece. I built the tunnel in the smaller layout myself. Please browse through all the pages to see more details of my work.
