When we moved to out new place in the country, Mitzie came with our purchase. She's a British Blue and our mouser. It took no time at all for her to trust us and whenever we go out to see her (she lives in the quonset hut), she wants to be petted and head butts us constantly. We fixed up her living quarters for her, set up a nice little bed. She comes over to the house and has met Booboo but she shows no interest in coming in, she just wants us to go out and pay attention to her. As she has lived her whole life outdoors, we decided not to change her lifestyle. The previous owners say she's 'ancient' so I'd guess somewhere over 10 years old. As she had never been to visit the vet, we took her for her vacinations and to be spayed.

Mitzie is a lap cat! I put her up on my lap and
she settled down for a cuddle, scratch and snooze.

On April 11 we had 30cm of snow.

Today (April 12/07) a lot of the snow is gone and the crust is icy so Mitzie can 'walk on snow' without sinking.

Mitzie spends more time inside our home and she loves to play.
